This Privacy Policy explains how Craiyon AI ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our all-in-one AI suite. Craiyon AI offers AI image generation, AI chat, voice chat, image editing, and document scanning — all powered by cutting-edge AI models.

By downloading or using Craiyon AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

📋 Information We Collect

Craiyon AI is designed to work with minimal data collection. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal identifying information to use any feature.

• Content you provide: Text prompts you enter for image generation, messages in AI Chat, voice recordings in Voice Chat, images you upload to the Image Editor, and documents you scan.
• Device information: Basic technical data such as device type, OS version, app version, and performance diagnostics to keep the App stable.
• Usage data: Anonymous, aggregated information about feature usage to help us improve the App.

⚡ How Your Content Is Processed

To deliver AI-powered features, content you submit is securely transmitted to Cloudflare Workers AI, which powers our core AI capabilities:

• Image Generation: Your text prompts are processed by the Flux.1 Schnell model to generate images.
• AI Chat: Your messages are processed by Meta Llama 3 to generate responses.
• Voice Chat: Your voice is captured via your device's microphone and converted to text for AI processing.
• Image Editor: Images you upload are sent for AI-powered enhancement based on your edit prompts (Enhance detail, Cinematic light, Sharpen, etc.).

📱 On-Device Storage

Your generated images, chat history, scanned documents, and app preferences are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use an AI feature that requires transmission.

• Generated images are saved to your device's local storage.
• Chat history can be cleared at any time using the Clear button in AI Chat.
• All locally stored data is permanently removed when you uninstall the App.

📄 Document Scanner

The Document Scanner uses on-device processing (Apple Vision framework) for OCR, document detection, and text extraction. Scanned content is not automatically sent to external servers.

• Scan Document / Scan Text / Image to PDF: Processed entirely on your device.
• PDF to Text / Text to PDF: Converted locally on your device.
• AI Summary: Extracted text is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a summary. Only the extracted text (not the original image/document) is transmitted.

📷 Camera & Photos

Features such as Image Editor and Document Scanner may request access to your photo library or camera. This access is used only to let you select or capture images you choose to edit or scan. The App does not access your camera or photos without your explicit action.

You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos / Camera.

🎙 Microphone & Voice

The Voice Chat feature requests microphone access to capture your spoken input. Voice recordings are used solely to process your request and are not retained after your session ends.

You can revoke microphone access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

📢 Advertising — Google AdMob

Craiyon AI displays advertisements via Google AdMob to support free access to the App. AdMob may collect and use the following data to serve and measure ads:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA) — only with your permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt
• Device information and IP address
• App usage data

🔗 Third-Party Services

Craiyon AI relies on the following third-party providers:

• Cloudflare Workers AI — AI image generation (Flux.1 Schnell), AI chat (Llama 3), voice processing
• Google AdMob — in-app advertising
• Apple Vision Framework — on-device OCR and document scanning

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services and are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control their practices.

🗄 Data Retention

• Content sent for AI processing is retained only as long as needed to return your result and is not stored by us afterward.
• Generated images and chat history remain on your device until you delete them.
• Voice recordings are not retained after your Voice Chat session ends.
• Anonymous technical and usage data may be retained in aggregate form to maintain and improve the App.

👶 Children's Privacy

Craiyon AI is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

⚙️ Your Choices & Rights

• Clear your AI Chat history using the Clear button in the Chat tab.
• Delete generated images directly from the App.
• Revoke photo, camera, or microphone permissions in your device Settings at any time.
• Opt out of personalized ads via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Remove all locally stored App data by uninstalling the App.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have additional rights including the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. Please contact us to exercise these rights.

🔒 Security

We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections, to protect data in transit. Content is stored locally on your device and not on our servers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
